This delightful eatery, which you can contact at +63 35 422 2664, is fast becoming a local favorite for its inviting atmosphere and scrumptious offerings.
Stepping into Cafe Mamia feels like discovering a hidden gem. As reported by customers like Carra Isabella “Karing” Ditona, their Herbed Tomato Pasta is not to be missed. It’s dishes like this that set Cafe Mamia apart, showcasing their commitment to quality and flavorful cuisine. The cozy ambiance, highlighted by a quaint vibe and candlelit tables, captures the essence of dining well in a laid-back setting.
Customer experiences echo the same sentiment. Karen Dawn Gerochi praises the Spanish Chorizo and substantial servings of Arroz Caldo, which are perfect for sharing. The standout is undoubtedly the blueberry streusel, a delightful treat reminiscent of Dewberry biscuits—definitely a must-try for anyone looking for that sweet indulgence.
On special occasions, such as Valentine's Day, Cafe Mamia shines even brighter. As noted by Jenika Nicole Caparoso, the buffet offering—complete with delectable desserts like cream puffs and specially curated drinks—was a hit. The Beef Romesco earned high praise, while the experience overall was enhanced by attentive service and a warm atmosphere.
Let’s not overlook the reviews from patrons like Glenn Chokola and Paul B, who commend the restaurant for its medium-sized dining area and efficient service. The garlic soup and salmon pasta have found their way onto many plates, with diners appreciating both the seasoning and the culinary care evident in each dish. While food might take a bit longer to arrive, as Paul suggests, it’s a wait that’s well worth it.
With consistently high ratings, Cafe Mamia is not just a place to grab coffee; it’s a destination for those eager to explore flavors that sing. Whether you’re a local or visiting Dumaguete, make sure to stop by and relish the tastes and warm hospitality that this quaint cafe has to offer.

Love this cafe/restaurant. Food, service, ambience - it’s like a hidden gem in Dgte. Spanish Chorizo is really good. Arroz Caldo comes in big servings. May be shared. Coffee is also good New discovery: blueberry streusel. Tastes like the Dewberry biscuits. We had to buy again for pasalubong.

My family and I dined in during Valentine's Day. They had this promo of a buffet consisting of several viands including desserts such as their cream puff (which, by the way, is my personal favorite) and drinks. This promo is at 375php per person. It was a very wonderful dinner - the ambiance was really nice, they had candlelit tables and it was fine though the place is kinda cramped, and the music was nice in setting the mood for the event. The people serving were really great as well. I got cake for my mom and they told me nicely that I wasn't allowed to eat that there. They were also nice enough to grant my additional requests. Nevertheless, what made me really give this a high rating is their food. They were really delicious. My favorite among the viands is the Beef Romesco. However, what made me give this 4 stars is the Baked fish. In all honesty, it tasted old. It was not fresh at all. Plus, the honey mustard did not work well for me. Overall, great experience. The price is worth it.

I have had a couple of nice meals here. Although the food is a little slow to come it's worth the wait. The garlic soup is delicious and the salmon pasta was yum.

With the recently reopened mamia in the restorative time of the pandemic, it hasn't changed much last time I was here and it atill has the same welcoming and chill ambience it always had. Price : Slightly more expensive than the regular stuff you find but the taste of the food and amenities compensates for it. Food : With an operation time of 10:30 to 7:30 pm. The food in cafe Mamia will definitely meet your brunch to dinner needs. I highly suggest their popular arroz caldo and fish and chips --> No food in this place is microwaved <-- Suggestion : For anyone who want to just chill, there is an outdoor area which can be used as a smoking area. I highly suggest their home blend Iced Tea "Mamia's Iced tea" and their homebrewed coffee. Extras: There is also a conference dining room in which you can schedule for either family use or business meetings while eating. So far they provide great service, food and a nice place for people looking to relax.

This place place is very classic! If you are a smoker and coffeeholic then this place might be a perfect place for you. I ordered the arroz caldo and the taste never disappointed me so far. The taste is like I am eating palabok but made with rice. It taste good. Different taste of arroz caldo. Definitely my first time. Staff are okay too. Toilet is clean too.
